Star Wars is the new hype last December after the Force Awakens’ and so is the game, Star Wars Battlefront.
This Star Wars game was originally published by LucasArts until the acquisition by the Walt Disney. It’s now developed by DICE (An EA subsidary) using Frostbite 3 engine, same game engine for the Battlefield series, Battlefront is a full jump from it’s former looks and gameplay.
Star Wars Battlefront 2015, as the same as its former titles, offers two sides: The Rebel Alliance, and the Galactic Empire. You can either choose one of the two and play a wide array of soldiers, and characters from the original trilogy (Episode IV, V, and VI).
Although it’s third-person shooting game, don’t expect anything like in the movies. The game only offers a battle arena and you either win or lose depending who gets the first 100 points. That’s it. It has lightsabers so… yeah.
It’s highly enjoyable when played among local multiplayer, and of course, online.
Recently EA just released Jakku as one of its playable map, although doesn’t offer Rey, Finn, or Poe as heroes for the map. It was announced by EA that the current Battlefront won’t offer anything from the Force Awakens due to the game’s timeline.
If anything, the game is highly enjoyable when played with friends/online. Other than that, buying Star Wars Battlefront isn’t totally worth it. If you’re looking to collect, this game is for you.
