MANILA, Philippines — Rushing to the aide of their beleaguered brother via their nightly show on TV5, the Tulfo Brothers — Ben, Erwin, and Raffy — seem to have earned the ire of many viewers following the threats they issued on-air against Raymart Santiago.
Using their show as a platform, the brothers each issued their sentiments regarding the brawl that involved their brother and celebrity couple Raymart Santiago and Claudine Barretto at the airport on Sunday.
That they issued such threatening statements on air seem to have turned off many viewers, who said the Tulfo brothers should have been ethical in their role as media personalities.
“Di naman tama na mag-threat ka on air,” said one Twitter users, apparently disappointed by what happened.
Another user thought it was “foul” of the Tulfo brothers to have used their positions as media men to threaten Santiago.
The next day, however, Erwin issued an apology for the threats they let loose on air on Monday night through his radio show, according to a report by PEP.ph, and also posted on InterAksyon.com.
The three have since been admonished by their older brother for what they did.
