Ginebra coach Siot Tanquingcen is a usual target for Ginebra fans after tough losses. Sunday night’s 96-88 Manila Clasico loss to B-MEG was no different, as the Gin Kings faithful took to Twitter to blame the coach’s decisions, particularly his choice to bench star rookie Dylan Ababou.
The Twitter account @BarangayGinebra, which is run by fans of the team led by Kaye Cabal, decided to lighten things up by starting the hashtag #ReplaceSongAndMovieTitlesWithSiot. The result was hilarious — and the term “Siot” became a trending topic on Twitter shortly afterwards.
