Arwind impressed by Fajardo, wants to help big man develop

Petron Blaze superstar forward Arwind Santos has checked out June Mar Fajardo, the Boosters’ top pick in the 2012 PBA Rookie Draft, and he likes what he sees.
“Nakita kong okay naman, makakatulong sa ‘min,” Santos told fans in an InterAKTV live chat during the draft. “Malakas yung loob. Yung height advantage, makakatulong.”
Santos believes that being picked first overall would motivate Fajardo to improve and show his worth.
“Bilang number one, yung pride,” he said about Fajardo. “Ayaw mong mapahiya, dapat ipakita mo yung galing mo.”
The lengthy forward said that it’s up to the team to help the 6-foot-10 former University of Cebu slotman reach his potential.
“Si Fajardo ang dapat naming tulungan. Lahat kami magtutulungan. Kung ano yung puntos ng isa, puntos naman ng lahat.”
Santos, however, said he still sees some problems with the structure of the team.
“Di ko pa nakikita yung balanse,” he said. “Pero yung defense at coaches pati yung mga players, kung paano kami mag-aadjust, (inaayos na).”
