Filipino-American Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Brandon Vera will return to the country for the second time this year to show his support for PXC28. The mixed martial arts event will be headlined by rising Filipino MMA star Tristan “Titay” Arenal going up against Abu Dhabi grappling champ Jon Tuck.
Brandon is the special guest in the Mixed Martial Arts event of the year on Saturday, November 26,7pm at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig. He will arrive early tomorrow morning together with his Filipino father Ernest Vera.
Pacific X-treme Combat (PXC)is a mixed martial arts organization based in Guam that has expanded to staging live events here in the country. It made its debut this year in the Philippines with PXC 24 last June and PXC 26 last August.
Brandon, along with PXC’s management, will hold a press lunch tomorrow, November 23, together with Arenal and Tuck in Quezon City. He will then head to the SMART-Araneta Coliseum to watch the PBA game between the Barangay Ginebra Kings and the Alaska Aces.
He is also scheduled to have magazine interviews, television, and radio show appearances.
PXC28 will be seen via satellite on AKTV on IBC 13 this Saturday starting at 9pm.
