The Philippine Football Federation has an avenue where Cristy Ramos can appeal the dismissal of sexual harassment charges against Azkals members Lexton Moy and Angel Guirado, contrary to her earlier claims.

“The PFF has the disciplinary committee, they don’t have the ethics committee or the appeals committee,” Ramos told News5 earlier when asked about whether she would appeal the decision.

But lawyer Gregorio Larrazabal pointed out that the PFF actually has an Appeals Committee, which he heads.

“The PFF HAS an Appeals Committee where parties may appeal the decision of the Disciplinary Committee,” wrote Larrazabal on Twitter in reaction to InterAKTV’s story about Ramos’ reaction to the decision.

The PFF Disciplinary Committee cleared Moy and Guirado of charges of sexual harassment Ramos filed last March.

Last May, the Appeals Committee upheld the PFF ban on Loyola midfielder Matthew Hartmann from suiting up for the national team, but reduced his suspension from sanctioned tournaments to one year.
