LAS VEGAS — Nonito Donaire believes Manny Pacquiao will simply be too much for his friend Timothy Bradley to handle when they go at it this Saturday night at the MGM Grand.
“Bradley works hard and puts a lot of pressure,” Donaire told a handful of Filipino scribes during dinner at Lupo restaurant at the Mandalay Bay.
But Donaire points out that while Bradley is tough-as-nails, even an 80 percent Pacquiao will be enough to put him in his right place.
Pacquiao has lots of experience, is fast and furious, according to Donaire, who came here not only to watch the fight but announce his July 7 showdown with South African Jeffrey Mathebula at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California.
Donaire said he has known Bradley since their amateur days in California.
Donaire grew up in the San Francisco area, while Bradley is from Palm Springs.
But if Pacquiao is not close to 80 percent, Donaire said Bradley will give him a taste of hell.
