‘El Clasico’ airs Sunday on AKTV

La Liga arch rivals Real Madrid and Barcelona will face each other for the second time this season on Sunday, April 22 in the much awaited ‘El Clasico’. The game will be aired at 2 p.m. over AKTV on IBC13, the country’s premier sports channel.
The two richest clubs in the world are locked in what has become the most exciting race for the Spanish title. Real Madrid carries with them a four-point lead over Barcelona entering the game.
Real Madrid is at the top of the table with 85 points while Barcelona is a close second with 81 points. With five matches to left, a lot is at stake for both clubs in this all-important match. A win by Barcelona will narrow the gap to just one point.
Even the top strikers of both teams are in a tight race of their own. Real Madrid is expected to lean on Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo, who has scored 41 goals this season. World Player of the Year Lionel Messi is meanwhile is taking charge of Barcelona’s scoring with 41 goals also.
Both clubs are expected to give loyal fans a good fight in one of the most awaited football matches in the world.
