While Manny Pacquiao and Juan Manuel Marquez have figured in three of the closest, most exciting battles in boxing history, a fourth fight between the two legendary fighters doesn’t exactly titillate fans.
In a poll on InterAKTV, more than 51 percent of readers said they don’t like the Filipino ring icon’s decision to duke it out with the Mexican great once more. About 26.7 percent said it was OK, while only 21.7 percent said they were looking forward to the fight.
Pacquiao and Marquez will meet once again on December 8 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas.
The two men last battled in the ring last November, with Pacquiao eking out a majority victory. The first fight in 2004 saw the two men battle to a draw, while their second fight in 2008 ended in a split decision victory for Pacquiao.
