Team owner Dan Palami confirmed the news to InterAKTV, making the squad busy next month as Global will also play in the 2013 Asian Football Confederation President’s Cup in Cebu also in May, a tournament featuring champion football clubs from emerging football nations in Asia.
Another UFL squad, the Loyola Meralco Sparks, will make its second trip to the Singapore Cup this year, marking the first time that the Philippines will send two representatives in an international club competition.
