Gritty Celtics escape OT scare vs Heat, tie East finals at 2-2

Reuters
BOSTON – The Boston Celtics let a large lead slip before seeing off the Miami Heat 93-91 in overtime on Sunday to level the Eastern Conference Finals series at 2-2.
Boston led by as many as 18 points late in the first half before Miami steadily clawed back into contention on aggressive play by LeBron James and Dwyane Wade and smothering defense.
A three-point shot by James in the final minute of regulation pushed the contest into overtime, but the league Most Valuable Player fouled out of the game with two minutes left in the extra session.
Captain Paul Pierce top scored for Boston with 23 points and Kevin Garnett added 17 and 14 rebounds. James led the Heat with 29 points.
Game Five is in Miami on Tuesday.
