Here’s the new Alaska milk can design after Tim Cone’s departure

The burning question no one has answered in light of Tim Cone’s departure from the Alaska Aces after 22 years last week: What will happen to the Alaska milk cans? After all, the kid in front of the can looked eerily like the longtime American mentor.

Fortunately, blogger, sports fan, and friend of The Fix Marco Jose Manipon did some serious digging, and unearthed the top secret new design of the Alaska milk cans:

UPDATE: Rafe Bartholomew emailed this morning to point out that he was the first guy to make the “Joel Banal in Alaska cans” joke. Indeed, Rafe tweeted about it on September 2, shortly after Tim Cone and Alaska announced their separation: “Now that we’ve reflected on what Tim Cone meant to Alaska, I have to ask: Sino ang bagong Alaska boy? Isang batang kamukha ni Joel Banal?”
