Ginebra, behind Best Player of the Conference Mark Caguioa, looked primed for a strong playoff run last conference before Caguioa went down with an injury and they were unceremoniously booted from contention. But ‘the Spark’ has been cleared to return to action and the Kings will be debuting a promising new import in Cedric Bozeman.
Air21 sported the league’s worst record in the last two conferences, although they showed improvement going from 0-14 in the All-Filipino to 3-6 last conference. With the sweet-shooting Zach Graham reinforcing the team, the Express are looking for another marked improvement in the Governors’ Cup.
Which team gets an early chance to bounce back from their disappointing finishes last conference? Will the Gin Kings reign supreme? Or can the Express derail those plans?
