These two teams have been in the headlines even during the midseason break after completing a trade that sent Marcio Lassiter to the Petron Blaze Boosters.
With the addition of Lassiter and Dorian Pe˜a, the return of Jay Washington and Chris Lutz, and the entry of Eddie Basden, the Boosters have a full tank to begin their title retention bid.
But the Powerade Tigers are no pushovers. The team added Rabeh Al-Hussaini, who looks to bounce back from a knee injury, and boasts perhaps the most big-name import in NBA veteran Rashad McCants. Of course, there’s Gary David, who’s looking to carry the squad back to relevance.
