Olympic Boxing: Barriga faces tough Kazakhstan foe next on Saturday

After his sensational opening round victory over Italy’s Manuel Cappai to open his London 2012 campaign, Filipino light-flyweight Mark Anthony will have his hands full in the second round against Kazakhstan veteran Birzhan Zhakypov.
The bout is set on Saturday, 1:45 p.m. in London (8:45 p.m. in Manila). The match will be broadcast live on AKTV.
Zhakypov is the reigning Asian Games silver medallist, losing to Olympic defending champion Zou Shiming in the finals. But the Kazakh had a tough outing in his opening bout, barely getting past France’s Jeremy Beccu, 18-17.
