LAS VEGAS — There was no Bible study that was held in Manny Pacquiao’s glamorous suite at the 60th floor of THEhotel on Friday night.

“Manny needed to take a break from all this and take a rest,” said a Team Pacquiao member who was told to request that all visitors leave the room by 7 p.m. so the pound-for-pound king can rest for Saturday night’s grand faceoff with Tim Bradley at the MGM Grand.

The past few days, Pacquiao’s room has been the venue of nightly Bible preaching by pastor Jeric Soriano, son of the late actor Nestor De Villa.

Not only that, several personalities from the Philippines — actors and actresses, politicians and religious leaders — have made their way to Pacquiao’s suite.

They arrive there in droves to either pay their respects or ask a favor from the 33-year-old fighter who hardly turns them down.
