The PBA has approved the trade that would send Mike Cortez from Barangay Ginebra San Miguel to Air 21 in exchange for Yousef Taha.
A text message sent by PBA media bureau chief Willie Marcial to InterAKTV confirmed the approval of the deal.
InterAKTV broke the news of the trade on Tuesday that would reunite the veteran point guard with his college coach at La Salle, Air 21 coach Franz Pumaren. The acquisition of promising center Taha, meanwhile, is expected to bolster Ginebra’s shorthanded frontline.
