PBA approves of Tubid to Petron and Barako Bull-San Mig Coffee multiplayer trade

The Office of the PBA Commissioner has officially approved of part of the five-team, 10-player series of deals involving Barako Bull, Petron Blaze, San Mig Coffee, Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and Alaska.

The trade of Barako Bull’s Ronald Tubid to Petron for Alex Mallari and Jojo Duncil has received league approval, as well as the swap of players that will see JC Intal, Jonas Villanueva and Aldrech Ramos move to Barako Bull in exchange for Mallari, Leo Najorda, Lester Alvarez and the 2014 first-round pick of Petron, the rights of which is held by the Energy Cola.

The deals involving Alaska and Ginebra are still awaiting approval.

The Energy Cola are expected to acquire Allein Maliksi, with Ramos moving to the Aces and Mac Baracael joining the Kings.
