The PBA on Thursday fined several members of B-MEG and Rain or Shine for their involvement in altercations in the heated Game Five of the Governors’ Cup finals.
The Llamado’s James Yap and the Elasto Painters’ Jireh Ibanes and Beau Belga were each fined P5,000.
Yap and Ibanes were called for double flagrant fouls penalty one in the first quarter of the game, which was affirmed by the league upon review. Belga’s foul on Marqus Blakely was upgraded to a flagrant foul penalty one.
Game Six is slated on Friday at the SMART-Araneta Coliseum, with Rain or Shine leading the best-of-seven series, 3-2.
