For the first time since retiring from PBA action in 1990, ‘The Quick Brown Fox’ Ricky Brown is back in Manila to reconnect with fans and the league.

Brown, the PBA’s Rookie of the Year in 1983 and Most Valuable Player in 1985, arrived at 6 p.m. Monday night.

He is scheduled to appear in a series of mall events to sign autographs and interact with fans: 5 p.m. on July 13 at Robinsons Manila, 5 p.m. on July 14 at Robinsons Galleria, and 5 p.m. on July 15 at Robinsons Forum.

He will also be feted by the PBA on Sunday and will finally receive his award for being one of the league’s 25 Greatest Players originally set in 2001.

Brown, a pioneering Filipino-American star, still holds the PBA record in points per game and assists per game average.
