Perpetual targets solo lead vs JRU; San Sebastian takes on Lyceum

San Sebastian and Perpetual Help take on separate foes as NCAA Season 88 action resumes Monday at the FilOil Flying V Arena.
At 4 p.m., San Sebastian guns for its fourth straight victory against Lyceum, which is coming off an 83-52 drubbing at the hands of Arellano University in its last outing.
The Stags are fresh off a 101-78 rout of Jose Rizal University, and are confident that their Big Three of Calvin Abueva, Ian Sangalang, and Ronald Pascual can keep carrying them.
Lyceum, meanwhile, is expected to be led by Chris Cayabyab, Rich Guevarra and Shane Ko.
In the main game at 6 p.m., a solid and tough Perpetual Altas squad will face another contender in Jose Rizal University.
The Altas will try to claim their fifth win and the solo lead in the standings.
Nate Matute, who has been playing steady basketball for the Heavy Bombers, is expected to lead the way, with John Lopez, Byron Villarias, and Alex Almario providing.
Jett Vidal and Earl Thompson, a deadly combination molded by coach Aric Del Rosario, has been carrying the scoring cudgels for Perpetual the past games.
