With Marc Pingris being christened Sakuragi and Talk ‘N Text fans claiming the Kainan tag, it’s logical for fans to conflate the B-MEG Llamados with Shohoku High from the popular anime series Slam Dunk. A PBA fan named Rhed Bell Pepper shared this poster of Shohoku’s first five with B-MEG’s starters.

What’s most remarkable about the poster is the effort of the creator to find photos of each Llamado in poses that are similar — even if not exactly the same — to each of their counterpart Shohoku player.
