Almost seven years after his retirement, PBA legend Alvin Patrimonio remains the face of the Purefoods franchise, even in his new role as team manager of the B-MEG Llamados. It is perhaps fitting that the most iconic moment of Game Seven of the Commissioner’s Cup involved an emotional Patrimonio in the thick of things, just after import Denzel Bowles buried two free throws to force overtime and breathe new life into the team’s chances.
