Pitpitunge KOs Cruz to become second homegrown Pinoy PXC Champion

AKTV
Crisanto “The Slugger” Pitpitunge knocked Justin “The Shocker” Cruz in violent fashion to annex the Pacific X-treme Combat bantamweight title in PXC 31 Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
Pitpitunge caught Cruz with a right straight that knocked the living daylights out of the Guamanian champion. The Team Lakay Wushu stalwart became the second homegrown Filipino PXC champion after Ale “The Young Gun” Cali defeated Jesse Taitano for the flyweight title.
In the co-main event Tristan Arenal came from behind to defeat fellow Richie Redman in a battle of Filipino-American fighters. Redman dominated the bout with his striking, before Arenal caught him in an armbar to seal the victory before time ran out.
