Racela names final youth team lineup for FIBA Asia tournament

The Energen Pilipinas youth team has submitted its lineup for the FIBA Asia Under-18 Championship to be held in Ulan Bator, Mongolia.
Featuring the core of the squad that won the SEABA Under-18 Championship in Singapore, the youth squad coached by Olsen Racela for will be headed by team captain J-Jay Alejandro and Hubert Cani of National University.
Big men freshmen Gideon Babilonia and Kristoffer Porter are also in the lineup along with frontliner Marc Olayon of University of the East, guard Jerie Pinggoy of Far Eastern University, Jay Javelosa of Reedley International School, Prince Rivero and Mario Bonleon of La Salle-Greenhills, Kent Lao of University of Santo Tomas, Kyle Suarez of University of the Philippines, and Rey Nambatac of Letran.
The FIBA Asia Under-18 tournament is the qualifying event for the FIBA World Under-19 Championship next year. The top three finishers in the region will be given spots in the world tilt.
