Talk ‘N Text, Alaska clash in Tubod

Talk ‘N Text coach Chot Reyes remains confident that his team can leave from its uncharacteristic spot near the cellar, and he hopes that the Tropang Texters can start their spurt against the Alaska Aces Saturday in Tubod, Lanao del Norte.
Reyes said that star guard Jayson Castro is nearing a return, and could see action in the crucial tiff which tips off at 6:30 p.m.
“We finally got some practice time in and hopefully Jayson can play. It’s a gametime decision,” said Reyes.
The Tropang Texters have been on a break since June 3, allowing them to regroup after a miserable 1-3 start. They are looking at a favorable matchup against the Aces, who have lost four straight games and are languishing at the cellar with a 1-5 win-loss record.
But Alaska coach Luigi Trillo believes his team can perform better. “We had good shots in our last game but missed some,” he said.
“Both teams will be battling for survival. We need this win just as bad as they need it and I
believe my guys can come out of their shooting slump.”
