Once upon a time, Don Allado was known as a dominant center instead of a controversial Twitter user. A bullstrong slotman from La Salle, he was the star of Welcoat’s first championship team. He won MVP honors in the 1999 Yakult-PBL Challenge Cup and led the franchise to its first title, before joining the Alaska as a direct hire rookie later that year.
