The UAAP announced on Wednesday schedule changes of games in the softball, baseball and volleyball competitions.

The opening games of the softball were moved to Wednesday, January 11 while baseball will start the next day on January 12 due to the unavailability of the Rizal Memorial Baseball Stadium.

Adamson, the tournament host of the softball and baseball competitions, learned from Philippine Sports Commission commissioner Chito Loyzaga that the completion of the skinning of the infield of the stadium will be finished on Sunday and will not be ready in time for the supposed opening of the tournaments this weekend.
