Which squad will resonate most with the ladies?
Jamlang: Obviously the Loyola Meralco Sparks. Let’s just say Phil Younghusband doesn’t have 284,600 followers on Twitter all because of his skills on the football field. Add to the mix his brother James, and the temperamental Hartmann duo and you’ve got a formula that will have young girls, heck even the full grown ladies shrieking with their every touch. Trust me, I’ve seen it happen.
Fenix: Global, with a certain Fil-Iranian amongst its ranks will surely top any popularity poll amongst the women. The late addition of “Papa” Rob Gier to the team just upped the ante for the ladies.
The mere shadow of Misagh Bahadoran warming up on the sidelines is enough to elicit ear-splitting shrieks from the crowd and I’m guessing it’s not just the ladies who are doing the screaming.
Kaya FC with Aly Borromeo in all his boxer brief glory and the Younghusband brothers will have their share of female fans, but Misagh, as a female football journalist would say, is the hottie of the hour.
