UFL: Kaya dismantles hard-luck Pasargad

After one half of United Football League action, Pasargad was able to keep in step with Kaya, with the scored tied at nil-nil heading into the break.

But all hell broke loose in the second half, as Kaya scored thrice to take the 3-0 result over Pasargad for its fourth win in five matches Saturday at University of Makati.

Eric Dagroh started the scoring party shortly after resumption of play, breaking through at the 49th minute on an error by Abdollah Golkah. Prince Mark Boley joined the fun soon after, scoring at the 61st minute off a penalty kick.

Injury was added to insult minutes later, after Golkah got hurt on a play, requiring substitution.

Nate Burkey wrapped up the scoring for Kaya with a goal in the 83rd minute.

Pasargad suffered its third loss in the season, remaining winless in five games with all its points coming from draws against Green Archers United and Stallion FC.

Kaya, meanwhile, rebounded from a tough loss to the Loyola Meralco Sparks in its last outing.
