Commissioner’s Cup Best Import Denzel Bowles, who led the B-MEG Llamados to the title, said his experience in the PBA has helped him in his NBA Summer League stint with the New Orleans Hornets.
“It definitely matured me. I was the youngest out there, and I had a lot of guys guiding me,” said the 23-year-old Bowles. “I grew through the season, and they really helped me out to become a man, basically.”
Bowles scored 18 points and grabbed 12 rebounds in his summer league debut.
