Greenbelt. Through December 16, 2012. Repertory Children’s Theater stages the musical version of the classic tale “The Wizard of Oz.” Directed by Joy Virata, the musical will introduce fresh, yet tasteful, new dance moves into the show. Shangri-La Plaza Through August 27 (Monday) It’s the 6th International Silent Film Festival Manila. at the Shang Cineplex, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City. In this year’s edition of the festival, the Embassy of Italy, the Embassy of the United States of America, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the Goethe-Institut, the Instituto Cervantes and the Japan Foundation Manila will present silent films from their respective countries which will be accompanied live by young Filipino bands such as Garlic (featuring Louie Talan, Francis Reyes and Zach Lucero), Radioactive Sago Project, Diwa de Leon, Rubber Inc., SinoSikat?, and Tropical Depression.
