TV host, actress, entrepreneur, and dancer Regine Tolentino, reveals another side of her multi-talented self. She’s designing the sexy and elaborate costumes of the first ever eco-fantaserye on Philippine television: Enchanted Garden, which airs on TV5 beginning July 30. Tolentino fashioned the whimsical costumes of the Diwanis, appointed guardians of all plants and trees in the enchanting Garden of Eden. Enchanted Garden’s Diwanis will be portrayed by glamorous Kapatid stars Alice Dixson, Ruffa Gutierrez and Rufa Mae Quinto.
Helmed by the country’s well-acclaimed directors Joel Lamangan, Joyce Bernal, and Eric Quizon, Enchanted Garden also features Alex Gonzaga, BB Gandanghari, Zoren Legaspi, Martin Escudero, Edgar Allan Guzman and Daniel Matsunaga. This eco-fantasya will pilot on July 30, 6:30PM on TV5.
Here’s a glimpse of Regine’s designs and as worn by the eco-serye’s glamorous actors.
Diwani Alvera (Alice Dixson)
The Goddess of Sun and the loving daughter of Queen Jasmina. Menandro’s (Zoren Legaspi) true love.

The costume of Diwani Alvera is made of hand-dyed monochromatic organza for the skirt and body, with an array of imported hand-painted flowers such as Calla Lilies, Leptospermums, Stephanotis, Oncidium Orchids, Daisies and Snapdragons in the color tones of warm Yellow and White. It is also embellished with semi-precious stones, embroidery, and beadwork. The inspiration is the character’s sweet "Mother Nature” -like image. Photo courtesy of TV5.
Diwani Valerianna (Ruffa Gutierrez)
The Goddess of water who deeply longs for the love of Menandro. She is set to do whatever it takes to make him fall for her.

Diwani Valerianna’s wardrobe is asymmetrical, featuring a one-leg frosted skin-tone power kits body suit with a monochromatic crocheted net with high-slit skirt. The costume is also embellished with beadwork and imported hand-painted Amaryllis, Hyacinths, Dendrobiums Orchids, Phalaenopsis Orchids, Lisianthus, Phalaenopsis Sprays, Star Gazer Lilies, Heathers, and Gladiolus. Diwani Valerianna represents power, femininity and aggression that are portrayed in the strong female hues of the flowers that were used: Lavender, Violet and Magenta. Photo courtesy of TV5.
Diwani Quassia (Rufa Mae Quinto)
The Goddess of Land and the most cheerful daughter of Queen Jasmina. So fascinated with the mortal world, she frequently drops by through the help of her pet rabbit.

Shades of red and orange were used to portray her fun and comical character in Enchanted Garden. Her tropics-inspired sexy ensemble inlcudes the following exotic flowers: the Casablanca, Lily, Scabiosas, Watsonias, Red Gingers, Star Gazer Lilies, Mini Carnations, Larkspurs, and Iris. There is a sheer embroidered base for her skirt with matching vines and flowers for her arm-bands and headdress. All flowers are beaded, hand painted and treated to have that truly vivid and lively feeling when you see her character. Photo courtesy of TV5.
