SM City North Edsa goes all the way to the North Pole as its theme for the festive season. At the property’s Atrium at The Block, this resonates through its central Northbound Wishes installation featuring costumed teddy bears called Santa Paws.
The moveable attracting plays every hour from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. daily. And of course, the mall made sure to give cheer throughout the season with an official lighting ceremony held November 4 with celebrity performers Telesa “Esang” de Torres and Sam Concepcion. The next day, the De La Salle Zobel Symphonic Band continued to spread some festive vibe with their renditions of various Filipino and foreign Yuletide music.
And since it’s the season for giving, shoppers are encouraged to give gifts that give back such as the mall’s SM Bears of Joy available for Php200. Each bear that is bought equals another bear to be donated to charity.
More Christmas activities at SM North Edsa include a special appearance by Santa Claus at The Block Atrium on December 18, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Enjoy fireworks on December 23 and 30 at the Skygarden.
