Craving to give your dwelling place some updated style? SB Funiture offers four new distinct styles that could be the solution to your quest for some condo or home upgrade.
At its Market Market showroom in Taguig City, the furniture company from Thailand presents trendy ideas from its three new collections. All designs come in clean lines that double up as functional and storage-friendly items perfect for the modern family home—it has that kind of straightforward aesthetics that’s been popping up on interior design Instagram and Pinterest accounts.
Patisia features vintage pieces in a classic and white palette—very feminine but not overly frilly. Curvy bed frames, dressers, and chairs in white, for instance, will complement pastel-shaded accessories that would make a modern-day princess or queen swoon with delight.
Scandi is all about styled minimalism popular in Scandinavian designs. With wood as its primary material, pieces come in the cool palette of soft blues, grays, and milky white.
Spazz offers modern minimalist designs that are sleek with hidden storage spaces within its pieces to keep a room looking pared down with style. Its wardrobe, low tables, dressers, for instance, introduce space organizers to keep a room looking clean and easy on the eye and spirit always.
Meanwhile, the Spazio collection offers modern European luxury and comes in sophisticated designs like space-saving furniture created with clever solutions like sliding night tables and hanging shelves in mind.
The brand has been in the Philippines for over eight years now with 1,000 projects under its name, including the modern luxe rooms at the Ascott serviced apartments at Bonifacio Global City. The company, however, has been around for 40 years and is present in 20 countries.
SB Furniture are considered European Standard Class 1, which means all products contain no harmful chemicals like formaldehyde and toxic glass emission, and are considered environment-friendly.
Asian affordability and service
Positioned as a mid-range brand with premium placed on durability and contemporary designs, SB Furniture has earned tags like “Spaces of Beauty,” Simply Beautiful,” and “Style on a Budget” from satisfied reviewers and consumers.
For an idea of how much the furniture costs: A Patisia Dresser is priced at Php12,998 and a Patisia Queen bedframe is Php15,998. a Scandi console table is Php7,500, and a retro-themed Sugar chair is priced at Php8,998, a three-seater Capulet sofa is priced at Php43, 998, to name a few.
“SB Furniture orginated in Thailand but it is now an international brand. The style is modern and European but it is geared for the Asian market,” SB Furniture’s managing director Winston Lim told InterAksyon.
“It’s all about Asian affordability in the sense that we offer quite a range of furniture in the showroom where buyers can select according to their preferred style and budget. The brand is also about Asian service—we offer free delivery service, free installation of furniture, and free consultations through our Free Consultancy Layout service.”
Notes Merchandising Manager Jackson Cue, “We design the space that you want, and provide all the solutions you need to enjoy it.
“We like it that our customers treat us like that stylish friend you always ask advice from for anything that has to do with your home. Someone who knows about design, who’s ready to help you with your vision, and who makes the entire experience easy and fun,” adds Cue.
Besides the three new collections, furniture pieces for dining, living, bedroom, and entertainment areas come in a variety of other styles including Metro Modern, Vintage Classic, Italian Luxury, Modern Minimalist. It even has a Condo FIT line for smaller spaces and Hotel Living for furniture that meets hotel-grade standards.
