WATCH | The world’s best fireworks displays light up Manila Bay

The sky over Manila Bay became the backdrop for magnificent fireworks displays on Saturday, February 25. The impressive presentation by two international companies was part of the 8th Philippine International Pyromusical Competition (PIPC) and featured a Battle of the All-Star Champions between Lidu Fireworks Polaris Fireworks (both from China) at the SM Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.

At the designated audience area, the visual spectacle became livelier as classical and pop music blaring from an audio system accompanied each presentation.

The event kicked off last February 13 and will have more shows in March. Come over with family and friends on weekends for the fun experience. Here’s the schedule:

March 4: Garden City Display Fireworks and Hands Fireworks, both companies are from Canada
March 11: Pyrotex Fireworks and Pyro 2000, both from the United Kingdom
March 18 Closing Show:  Australia’s Skylighter Fireworx and the Philippines’ Platinum Fireworks, Inc.
