PDEA destroys marijuana plantation in Arakan, Cotabato

COTABATO CITY, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency uprooted and destroyed up to 2,000 marijuana plants in Purok 4, Barangay Sumalili, Arakan, Cotabato.

PDEA Region 12 direcor Gil Ceasar Castro valued the marijuana, which they burned at the site of the plantation, at around P400,000.

The alleged cultivator, Jerome Tulosan, was arrested and will be charged with “Cultivation of Plants Classified as Dangerous Drugs.”
