Stanley Pringle’s career game lifts GlobalPort over TNT

Stanley Pringle dropped a career-high 30 points to carry the GlobalPort Batang Pier to a 119-112 win over TNT KaTropa in the Oppo PBA Governors’ Cup Friday at Ynares Center in Antipolo.

Pringle also pulled down eight rebounds, dished four assists and made two interceptions as the Batang Pier (3-3) moved up to .500 mark and snapped their five-game skid against KaTropa (4-3) whose own two-game winning streak was snapped.

Murphy Holloway also had 24 points, 17 rebounds six assists and four steals while Sean Anthony tallied 21 points, six rebounds and three assists for GlobalPort which unleashed a 16-0 run in the second quarter to erase a nine-point deficit and keep the lead for good.

TNT import Glen Rice Jr. exploded for 39 points, 13 rebounds, five assists and four steals but committed a whopping total of 11 turnovers.
