Bubble Gang has produced another musical hit with its parody of Up Dharma Down’s “Oo” which was well-received online with over four million views on Facebook in less than a week.
The parody video titled “Uh-oh” starred GMA’s comedian Michael V or “Bitoy” by a band they formed called “Ay Karma Yan.” It was first posted on Facebook on March 1 and immediately got one million views overnight.

The lead vocalist of Up Dharma Down, Armi Millare, praised the production of this version of their 2006 hit single.
“I think it’s really well-made, the band and I have been watching it since it came out. [It’s] so cleverly done and it makes people happy in ways we can’t, so everybody wins!” Millare said to GMA News Online.
Michael V, meanwhile, expressed on Instagram his gratitude to the show’s fans for supporting their work.
“Thank you sa lahat ng nanonood. Salamat din sa magagandang comments. Really appreciate it,” he said.
Unlike the original love song, this rendition ponders on having to cook in a restaurant without a stove.
In a separate interview, the Kapuso star explained that the concept came from this “ridiculous” curiosity.
“Yun lang yung nagtrigger ng lahat, kung walang kalan. Tas naisip ko na kung gano ka-ridiculous yung idea na tumitira ka sa bahay ng walang kalan saka kung anong pwedeng mangyari ‘pag walang kalan,” he said.
This was the second time that GMA’s long-running comedy sketch gag show made a spoof of an Up Dharma Down or UDD song.
In 2016, Michael V and his team made a music video of a song called “Tadyakan,” a funny rendition of UDD’s “Tadhana.”
Bubble Gang is known for its creative and humorous music videos inspired from popular OPM hits, aside from the show’s popular comedic acts. The lyrics are mostly written by Michael V, himself.
“DJ Bumbay,” “Hindi Ako Bakla” and “Isaw Nga” are among the most memorable music videos produced for the iconic Kapuso program.
