MANILA, PHILIPPINES — With October 31 and November 1 declared non-working holidays to allow the nation to observe All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day, several private banks have issued advisories for “Undas” to the public.
All BPI and BPI Family Savings Bank branches nationwide will be closed Tuesday, October 31 and on Wednesday, November 1, a statement from the bank said. Operations will resume on Thursday, November 2.
Electronic channels such as ATMs, online and mobile banking will continue to be available to handle transactions and other banking services, though, said BPI and BPI Family Bank.
In observance of All Saints’ Day, all Security Bank branches will be closed on Wednesday, November 1, 2017. Regular operations of all branches will resume on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
Hoever, Security Bank NAIA Terminal 1 (open only to customers with terminal passes) and Terminal 3 branches will observe banking hours on Tuesday, October 31, 2017.
Customers were advised to plan ahead to avoid inconvenience, and to view the locations and operating hours of Security Bank branches at https://www.securitybank.com/map/
Meanwhile, UCPB advised clients that all UCPB branches nationwide will be closed on October 31, Tuesday (special nonworking holiday) and November 1, Wednesday(regular holiday) in observance of All Saints’ Day.
Regular banking operations will resume on November 2, Thursday, except for Oroquieta and Ozamis branches in celebration of Misamis Occidental Foundation Day.
Clients are advised to schedule their banking transactions accordingly or use UCPB’s electronic banking facilities including UCPB ATMs, UCPB Connect or Mobile Phone Banking for balance inquiries, bills payments, fund transfers, load purchase and other online banking services.
