It’s hard to take that first sip of coffee when you’re presented with an amazing cup featuring the latte art of Lee Kang-bin.

The South Korean barista is getting international recognition for pioneering “Creamart” wherein intricate designs are drawn on the layer of foamed milk on espresso.

You can stare at your coffee cup forever when it has Mr. Kang-bin’s amazing creations that include miniature reproductions of Vincent Van Gogh’ “The Starry Night” and “The Scream” by Edvard Munch.

Unlike regular latte art where patterns are formed by pouring foamed milk in particular directions, Mr. Kang-bin’s Creamart utilizes food dyes and spoons as his brushes to create images. His quick hand takes him 15 minutes to finish the edible artwork. The coffees are sold for 10,000 Korean won or about Php453 a cup at his shop called Café C. Through in Seoul.

But one has to pre-order the beautiful drinks at his coffee shop. Customers can even request for their favorite paintings. Other popular artworks in the barista’s list include Disney characters like Bambi, Snow White, and Winnie the Pooh.
