The San Miguel Beermen players Chris Ross and Charles Rhodes bagged home the top individual awards of the Oppo PBA Commissioner’s Cup on Wednesday.

The 6’2″ do-it-all guard, who has conference averages of 12 points, 4.64 rebounds, 7.45 assists and 2.45 steals, won his first Best Player of the Conference trophy while Rhodes copped the Best Import title.

Ross edged out teammates Alex Cabagnot and June Mar Fajardo as well as TNT’s Jayson Castro and GlobalPort’s Stanley Pringle for the plum.

Ross and Cabagnot, who form one of the league’s deadliest backcourt, were tied in the statistical race. Ross however prevailed after getting more votes from the media and players.

Rhodes, who has averages of 28.36 points, 10.45 rebounds, 1.73 assists and 1.64 blocks, meanwhile was the runaway Best Import winner, beating Star’s Ricardo Ratliffe, Ginebra’s Justin Brownlee and TNT’s Joshua Smith.
