Fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe are bracing for the final stage in the story of the Avengers after Marvel released the trailer to April 2019’s “Avengers: Endgame.”
Marvel Studios recently confirmed that the much-awaited trailer released over the weekend was viewed 289 million times within the 24 hours after its release. The views were tabulated from total engagements made on various social media platforms.
The previous record holder was “Avengers: Infinity War,” the prequel to “Endgame” which had 230 millions in the first 24-hour time period.
Its 2.1 million likes on streaming service YouTube also beat the combined likes received by Marvel’s “Captain Marvel” and DC Films’ “Aquaman,” the two next major superhero movies lined up before “Avengers: Endgame” premieres.
The two-minute-and-a-half long trailer shows Avengers such as Iron Man, Thor and Captain America who survived the shocking ending of “Infinity War” struggling to cope with the damage done by the villainous Thanos.
Some allusions to the original hit comic book series can be seen throughout the trailer.

The heroes who were notably absent from “Infinity War” Hawkeye and Ant-Man are also seen making a return to the Avengers roster. Hawkeye a.k.a Clint Barton’s appearance in his costume as the sword-wielding Ronin has piqued the interest of loyal comic book readers.

Ant-Man’s surprise appearance at the end of the trailer meanwhile has become the center of the newest fan theory about how the Avengers can finally get back at Thanos.
Fans are raving in the days after the trailer’s release.
Natasha found Clint just as how Hawkeye found the Black Widow.
Mercilessly killing her enemies. TAINTED RED.

‘Part of the journey is the end’
“Infinity War” broke moviegoers’ hearts when a triumphant Thanos managed to achieve his goal of decimating the entire universe’s population by half.
Even though Marvel Studios has yet to reveal its full plans for the Marvel Cinematic Universe after “Endgame,” many believe that the expected departure of many of its stars including Captain America Chris Evans will be the first of many big changes to the vastly-popular movie franchise.
Evans confirmed in October 2018 that the fourth installment of the Avengers movie franchise would be his last appearance as Captain America.
